A large antique riveted galvanised steel water jug / watering can / pitcher dating from the early part of the 20th century. The jug has a swing handle, a handle at the back and spout with a riveted construction. It holds 2 1/2 gallons and measures 34cm high with a 26cm diameter base. It has been painted at some point and has some surface marks / scratches and cracks to the rim on the base, when filled with water there is a tiny seep noticeable on the back seam, see last photo which was taken about 1/2 hour after it was filled up, otherwise all in genuine antique condition.
